VPASP sync for KashFlow™
KashFlow is used by Click2Scan to track all their company finances. This includes transactions made through several eCommerce sites in the Click2Scan group of businesses through which Click2Scan sell scanner hardware, document scanning and photo scanning services.
Recently GoldFigure worked with Click2Scan to develop an integration between their multiple VPASP online stores and their KashFlow system.
Saving time and effort with VPASP sync for KashFlow™
Click2Scan were spending several hours a week, duplicating all the orders received via their VPASP and rekeying them into KashFlow. It made perfect sense to sync these transactions instead and ensure that KashFlow was an accurate financial dashboard for the company.
VPASP sync for KashFlow™ is written in ASP.net and sits in a simple folder on the server alongside the VPASP store. It communicates directly with the MS Access database at the back of VPASP, using VPASP authentication to allow only store administrators access to the tool. The sync tool then reads all processed orders and presents them in a single list. Orders can easily be added to the ignore list where they will be ignored in future sync operations (handy if you have already re-keyed years of legacy invoices). Finally the orders are sync'd with KashFlow, new customer records are created where necessary, and the invoices will appear already marked as paid in the sales invoices list.
