CapitalServ - IIS hosting
CapitalServ were first introduced to us by a client who had found them for hosting her own VPASP based eCommerce site. We thought it would be a good idea to get in touch because at about this time GoldFigure was starting to fall out of love with Streamline.net's customer services and RyanAir revenue model (cheap flight but what about the extras?)
CapitalServ are a pretty large hosting company. They deal with small websites at one end of the business while also providing managed server solutions to large corporate and public sector clients. We like that - professional hosting practice all the way down the line. With fully inclusive MySQL, PHP and ASP.net 3.5 their packages are so comprehensive they leave most providers way behind. At the same time their customer services are excellent. We know some of the team on first name terms so there is no anonymous call centre response.
We had a client who was so late paying her annual renewal that the site was deleted from CapitalServ's system. We got in touch. No problem - it was fully restored within an hour... on a Sunday evening. Enough said!
